Why Order Travel Money With TUI?
How to get the best out of your Fiji dollars on holiday
If you’re heading to Fiji for a holiday, it really makes sense to get the right currency sorted out before you go. The Fijian dollar’s the official currency in the country, and it’s universally accepted in all Fijian destinations, though some do accept US dollars as well.
The exchange rate between the pound and the Fijian dollar fluctuates, like all currencies, but the average was around FJD 2.41 to every £1 in early 2023.
Where to get Fijian dollars
You can collect your Fijian currency from TUI at your nearest TUI Store, or buy it from us online if you prefer. You can also use the TUI Travel Money card, though fees will apply in Fiji.

Fijian society’s based on the spirit of community, so the general philosophy is that everything’s shared and no tipping is required. Many places will have a staff ‘Christmas Fund’ box at reception, though – feel free to contribute.
